Yep, you can, if not then set a lower more reasonable goal.
I’m a school teacher with a busy schedule, so I do my 100
in the morning’s with my 9 year old son who does his 30
push-ups.
Here’s how I do it:
5 push-ups times 5 sets– that’s 25 push-ups as a warm-up.
I rest comfortably between sets.
Now my body is ready…
10 push-ups times 4 sets– that’s 65 push-ups. Only 35 left!
20 push-ups straight– my personal challenge.
15 push-ups to finish it up.
But 2 minutes of abdominal crunches
is included for a complete workout.
That’s it… and you can do it too.
Just set your goal and believe in yourself!
PS: If you are in slump, this workout works
great!

Never take your push-up reps to failure. Example: If you can do 10 reps in a row I tell people to do 5 reps but do three sets. You now have done 15 push-ups or 50% more. The only way to keep increasing is to do more mini sets and enjoy the process. Ted Skup. Author of Death Taxes & Push-Ups. http://www.deathtaxesandpushups.blogspot.com.

Do you always reach the point when you say to yourself, “go on, 10 more” then you get to 9 and think, …go on, you can do it, do another 10…..so you do it.
…and then you push yourself more and more until you just cant physically move?!
…no?
may just be my twisted mind! 🙂

Yes, I’ve done that, but I always keep in mind my capacity. I know the shape I’m in so, for example, today’s not a good day to push it because I’m just getting back in shape or I haven’t been feeling well. There are a lot of dead macho athletes I imagine that just had to do that extra set and made their heart cease.

Hi
My name is Amy Parker. I’ve just visited your website and I was wondering if you’d be interested in exchanging links with my website. I can offer you a HOME PAGE link back from my Health Medical website which is http://www.der-starhopper.com
As mentioned, your link would be placed on the site HOME PAGE, not on any “links” pages which may be buried in the site somewhere. I’m sure this exchange would be benefitial for both of our sites, helping towards increasing our visibility in search engines.
If you are interested, please add the following information to your website and kindly let me know when it’s ready. I’ll do the same for you in less than 24 hours, otherwise you can delete my link from your site.

Excellent little training exercise to improve endurance in the chest and tricep muscles. Another similar way to do this is start off doing 20 continuous push-ups and then adding 5 more the next day, so you’re doing 20 a day, 25, 30 and so on until you reach the target number of your choice.
